SEC Industrial announces transition to SEC Automation and expanded focus on advanced welding technologies

Company to Debut AutonoWeld Product Line at FABTECH 2025

NORCROSS, Ga. — July 1, 2025 – SEC Industrial, a leading provider of welding and fabrication equipment, today announced its official name change to SEC Automation. This transition reflects the company’s continued expansion into automated welding, cutting and beveling solutions that support high-stakes fabrication across nuclear facilities, aerospace programs, defense contractors, shipyards and large-scale industrial construction.

“For years our customers have trusted us with work that has no room for error,” said John Henderson, Founder and Owner. “SEC Automation makes it clear that our priority is building equipment that delivers the same quality every time. Automation is the standard our customers need today, and this name reflects that commitment.”

With automation accelerating across the fabrication industry, SEC Automation is positioning itself to meet rising demand for consistent weld quality, fewer variables and improved throughput. The company will debut its AutonoWeld product line at FABTECH 2025.

AutonoWeld is SEC’s unified automated welding platform that supports lathe welding, pipe spool welding, orbital welding, overlay welding and o-let welding in both shop and field environments. Every machine is engineered to interface with SEC’s AI-driven welding intelligence engine, enabling the transition to autonomous welding.

“Everything we build is grounded in real problems our customers face,” Henderson said. “SEC Automation reflects the direction our industry is heading. We are creating systems that help shops work safer, faster and with full confidence in every weld.”

Throughout 2025, SEC Automation will continue providing rental services, repair solutions and responsive technical support while expanding development of its autonomous welding systems and upgrading its product line.
