Product line to debut at makes its debut at FABTECH 2025
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NORCROSS, Ga. — September 8, 2025 – SEC Automation today announced the debut of AutonoWeld, a unified automated welding ecosystem engineered to meet the growing demand for precision, consistency and repeatability across the fabrication industry. The complete product line is being unveiled this week at FABTECH 2025, where attendees will see firsthand how the ecosystem brings multiple welding applications together under one connected platform.
As shops face shrinking labor pools, tighter quality expectations and increasing pressure for traceability, AutonoWeld serves as a single-source automation strategy designed to strengthen accuracy and throughput across the full weld lifecycle. The product line combines orbital welding tools, pipe spool automation, and intelligent process control into one streamlined system.
AutonoWeld’s orbital solutions provide dependable performance across both micro and macro applications. The Micro Weld Head Series supports high-purity small-diameter tubing found in pharmaceutical and semiconductor systems, while the Macro Weld Head Series delivers the torque and reliability required for larger industrial pipe. Both series integrate with the AW-215 power supply, which provides stable TIG performance with built-in parameter storage and record keeping for consistent, traceable welds.
The AutonoWeld M3 Pipe Spool Welding Machine expands the ecosystem into heavy fabrication, offering a configurable platform powered by the ESAB Aristo 5000i, advanced vision capabilities and a PLC-controlled interface. Built to handle long-run production and customizable weld cell layouts, the M3 adapts to each shop’s materials, specifications and workflow needs.
SEC Automation also previewed upcoming additions to the line, including AutonoClad for overlay welding, Autonolet for automated o-let fabrication and the AutonoWeld Welding Lathe, a rotational welding solution built to customer specifications. Together, these systems position AutonoWeld to support nearly every major weld type required in modern fabrication.
“AutonoWeld is the answer to what shops are asking for today,” said John Henderson, Founder and Owner. “Fabricators want automation that removes variables, increases throughput and delivers the same quality every time. Debuting this ecosystem at FABTECH allows us to show how these systems work together in a way the industry has not seen before.”
All AutonoWeld platforms are designed to integrate with SEC Automation’s developing AI-driven welding intelligence engine, which will support adaptive weld control, weld validation and the path toward autonomous welding. By unifying orbital, spool, overlay, o-let and lathe applications under one ecosystem, AutonoWeld provides fabricators with a connected workflow capable of supporting an entire welding strategy from start to finish.
“Shops are no longer asking if they should automate. They are asking how quickly they can,” Henderson said. “AutonoWeld gives them a system they can trust from the first inch of micro tubing to the final pass on a heavy spool.”
